Ambitiouz Entertainment Teases Potential Collaboration With Emtee: Let me introduce you to the record label Ambitiouz Entertainment, one of the biggest record labels in South Africa, if not the biggest. Ambitiouz Entertainment’s contributions to the South African music industry cannot go unnoticed, their poor relationship with a majority of their creative artists like Emtee, Fifi Cooper, B3nchMarQ, A-Reece, and Flvme, raising doubts about their past accomplishments.

Rapper Emtee is one of the SA rappers among the artist that left the record label because of the record label’s mistreatment. The rapper has been vocal about the operations of his former label, expressing dissatisfaction.

According to TimesLIVE, Emtee alleged that he was exploited by the record label, stating that despite being overbooked, he received a fixed salary. Frustrated with the situation, the rapper publicly criticized Ambitiouz Entertainment before terminating his contract.

Well, Emtee is making a good impact with his own label. In September 2019, Emtee launched his own record label, Emtee Records under his company African Trap Movement.

However, there has been news going around that Emtee might reunite with Ambitiouz Entertainment, his previous label.

Zimoja reported that Emtee is in talks with Ambitiouz again so that they can work together.

“They are in talks about having him back at the label, but nothing has been concluded, a close source said as per Zimoja publication. “The label is not desperate; they are still staying afloat despite the negative publicity. The talks have been happening, but nothing has been concluded on whether Emtee will be working with them again”.

According to Ambitiouz Entertainment owner Kgosi Mahumapelo, there is a respectful relationship between his record label and Emtee behind doors. However, he refrained from confirming or denying the rumors about a potential reunion with Emtee. The label owner’s stance leaves the possibility of Emtee’s return to Ambitiouz Entertainment uncertain.

“Emtee is a successful businessman in his own right and claims that he seeks to relive the success or to join hands with the team that was responsible for his highest level of success might not be far-fetched. But since every possible negotiation is protected by confidentiality, we choose neither to deny nor confirm the rumours”. States Kgosi Mahumapelo.
