Nomfundo Moh Marks Another Success

Nomfundo Moh Marks Another Success: South African singer, Nomfundo Moh born Nomfundo Ngcobo, was raised in Ndwendwe, KwaZulu-Natal, she began her career at the early age of 16 in 2016. she first gained recognition after releasing “Lilizela” in 2021, which received platinum certification in South Africa.

The sought-after singer celebrates new success as Amagama has been certified platinum and Phakade Lami is 6 times platinum.

The artist just lately dazzled fans with a performance at the Metro FM Music Awards, marking another high point in their career. By being presented with gold and platinum plaques at the Universal Music headquarters for her tracks from the Amagama album, the Amagama hitmaker has surpassed expectations and shattered records.

She posted an emotional clip of the memorable event on her personal account on Instagram. The singer had no words and became overwhelmed with emotion as she claimed her awards.

“Allow me to introduce you to the multi-platinum-winning team!! 🥺🧡❤️here’s how my day went izolo! As I received a big plaque for Amagama’s achievements”. she wrote.

In a separate Instagram post, Nomfundo Moh thanked her team for a job well done and for their contributions and labor of love in creating a record-breaking album project.

“Amagama doing the most namanje! This time bangenzele iPlaque engangamiNgyeza nendaba egcwele when I have more pictures. For now, hear me when I say, my team works overtime! Thank you so much @sgincimedia @umgsa and of course my MohFam. Nakuba ngimile, it’s your love and support!@mpilo_manyathi @edwardkhumalo @naxion_cross May God bless you fam, thank you for everything. Again I repeat, makeup ain’t meant for soft girls like me, check the last 2 frames, my face with tear marks. Hehe, next week it’s Ugcobo week. Makukhanye nakhona”, she wrote.

Recently, she came up on her Facebook and she discussed her battles with anxiety, she underwent therapy.

“The anxiety that comes after completing an album suddenly makes you feel as if you lost someone. I don’t know if it’s something artists never talk about, or if it’s something that’s just facing me Fellow artists, how’s your experience”

“This has got nothing to do with hoping to have a hit song. It happened just after I completed Amagama and I ignored the feeling (well fortunately the album was a success)… I think some of us pour a lot of soul towards our art and then we’re left feeling empty after delivering the body of work.I think it would be ideal for artists to normalise going for therapy after working on a project, something more like debriefing. Maybe that would work”

“I remember this happened nje around aboFeb kwaze kwaba ngcono mid year (and that time I did not get much gigs so I didn’t perform much)… I just felt empty, lacked motivation, it was like all my joy got stolen by the album. I don’t even know if this makes sense,” she wrote.
