Responds to Somizi’s “Fake” Post from Mbongeni Ngema With “This is Embarrassing.”

Some people on social media were very angry because they thought Somizi sent himself a WhatsApp message that he said was from Mbongeni Ngema.

Many famous people have paid respect to the late Mbongeni Ngema since his death on November 27, 2017.

He was the famous South African playwright, musician, and creator of the show Sarafina. He died in a head-on crash in Lusikisiki, Eastern Cape, on Wednesday night.

Ngema, who is 68 years old, was on his way home after going to a wake.

Gema was killed in a head-on collision this evening on his way back from a funeral in Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape. His family said in a statement that he was a passenger in the car.
Mbongeni Ngema’s “message” to Somizi caused a stir.

Sarafina! actor and media figure Somizi Mhlongo was one of the famous people who paid their respects to the star. He posted a WhatsApp message that he said came from Ngema.

In an Instagram post that has since been removed, Somizi talked about his pain by writing in the caption of a WhatsApp screenshot:

Hi Mhlongo, good evening. Allow me to take this chance to thank you for what you did for me when I was at my weakest.

You put out your hand to me without me asking for help or making you do anything. Out of all my children, you are the only one who came forward to help me. This has touched the deepest parts of my being.

After the message, Somizi wrote a long caption about how much he loved the late author of Sarafina.

Since then, Somizi’s fans have called him an attention-seeker and said the message looks “fake.”

Someone asked, Why does Somizi pretend to be Mbongeni Ngema when he texts himself on WhatsApp?

Someone else said, Somizi is an old, lonely man who wants attention. Whenever a famous person dies, he acts like the chief mourner.

What did Somizi do? Did he forget that you sent the green message on WA? Going after attention is a drug

It’s possible that Somizi Mhlongo thanked himself on WhatsApp for helping Mbongeni when he was at his weakest, like when he was found to be a creep. He forgot that the left text should be green and not have a check mark next to it.
