MuziqalTone Officially Departs Simnandi Records: The Inside Scoop
MuziqalTone, aka Muzi Selepe, Announces Departure from Simnandi Records. Renowned producer and DJ MuziqalTone, whose real name is Muzi Selepe, has officially revealed his exit from Simnandi Records. Since joining the label in 2019, he has been a prolific artist, creating numerous hits and accumulating staggering streaming numbers.
This departure follows closely after DJ Father left the record label just a year ago. The success of Amapiano today owes much to versatile artists like MuziqalTone, whose productions have garnered over 6 million streams. His departure undoubtedly leaves a void that will be keenly felt by Simnandi Records.
In a statement released on Wednesday, February 21st, 2024, MuziqalTone, expressing gratitude, said, “I, Muzi Selepe, known as MuziqalTone, take this time to announce that I am no longer under Simnandi Records. I would like to thank them for the time we worked together and the contribution they made to my career.”
Additionally, MuziqalTone confirmed that he will not be represented by Simnandi Records in any music or booking-related matters. He assured fans that more details about his independent career will be revealed in due course.
“Please note that Simnandi Records will no longer represent me in terms of bookings and all related matters. I will announce my next steps in due course. New booking details will be announced shortly,” he added.
