While Tom Cruise is Being Criticized, His co-star stands up for Him
There are reports that Tom Cruise is dating Elsina Khayrova, who is the daughter of a Russian MP. This has led many people to criticize the actor.
But people in the movie business have praised the “Mission Impossible” star for how hard he works.
On the set of “All the Right Moves,” Lea Thompson said that Tom Cruise was “very intense.”
The 62-year-old actress and Cruise, 61, both starred in the 1983 sports thriller, and she praised how hard he worked on the movie.
Parade magazine asked Thompson what it was like to work with Cruise on the movie. Thompson said, “Very intense, kind, dedicated, and polite, just like he is now.”
The actor from “Back to the Future” remembered how scared the actor from “Mission: Impossible” was when they tried out for the part.

She said, “I remember our Fox ad.” Because we were both so nervous, I was trying to calm him down. He wasn’t quite right for the part because he was meant to be a possible college football player and he’s only, what, 5’7?”
Thompson is amazed by how far Cruise has come in his Hollywood career.
It does blow my mind, she said. It’s weird to be a woman because none of the women I grew up with were movie stars. It’s easy to be a man.
Thompson also thinks that Cruise is a “anomaly” in the movie business because not many actors and women have been big stars for so long.
The actress asked, Julia Roberts, what’s her last big movie? She played Lorraine Baines-McFly in the ‘Back to the Future’ movie trilogy. I know Tom Cruise is different, and he deserves it.
For example, who in ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’ would ride a motorbike off a mountain? I’m not guilty. I’d just go up the list of bodies.
